I posted the entry April 14... It was really a gift for a very special woman... our Clan Matriarch, my grand-aunt who we all fondly call Wawa Caring! It was to make something for her that's fitting for her 86th birthday which was a good 2 days before i made the mono...
As I said then, when i read the entry again.... it was to make something "vintage but bright…. Old but vibrant".... something much like her.... well i liked the result and I printed and framed it with the Poem I wrote for her.... and she liked it very much!
I'm so glad I did give it to her, then,,, two hours ago, she passed away! Three weeks after my uncle, her son-inl-aw died in Hongkong... only a week after we buried him.
I want to thank you Gary and everyone in MM for all the tips and comments... atleast, before my Wawa left, i gifted her with something I lovingly made for her myself. You people helped me make something beautiful by what I learned from you!

Of Fire and Ardor
Always had been a strong flame
That as a child, I almost feared.
And yet, a welcoming warmth
Exudes and makes you feel reared.
Only lately did I realize
That the blazing fuel she had inside
Was to keep the furnace ever burning
For the family she was nurturing
Now the fire seemingly mellowed
But the passion burning ever bright.
Quietly watching her clan grow,
Her smiling eyes aglow with pride!
