Picture Perfect - Seasonal

In most parts of the world seasons also mean climate changes and length of time changes... and since he Philippines is like just a few miles up the equator, we have a fairly even climate and time, well we do have the wet and dry season but us here in Mindanao, the southernmost part of the country which is almost smacked on the equator, we have the same amount of sun and rainfall all year round... so even that two season the country we don't really experience much...

but there is this two seasons ingrained in our culture that we look forward to annually and this is the Christmas Season and the Undas (all Souls/Saints "days").... well probably because we are a predominantly Christian country... people rush to go home during these times of the year.... most reunions are made during these times... usually family reunions are on Undas, though unofficially so... i havent heard anyone say they will have a family reuinion on Nove 1 or 2 but then even though they dont say it out loud, family gather around their dearly departed during this time... this is very evident in all modes of public transportation, may it be air, land or sea, all of them are fully booked... people go home just to visit the cemetery and see famil members there.

I just came back from a trip the other day and i was a little surprised to see the huge Centennial Terminal of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport very crowded and the long lines to check in was really tooooo long.... then i realized .. of course, mos would have their holidays during these times to go home... this is a scene very common during this Undas "season" in airports, seaports and bus terminals around the country ....
