I found out from Chrissy that there will be a Total Solar eclipse last Monday, January 26, in the Indian Ocean and so i tried to see if we can see it from here... I was so excited because it was said that we will experience 77%-80% coverage here in Davao, Manila will see 55%...
and so i set up my tripod and got my camera ready at around 15:00 because they said to expect it around 16:30.... my staff and i were crossing our fingers because the clouds are getting thicker by the seconds and it seems that it was already raining in some parts of the city... but still we hope to even have a glimpsed of it or be able to take even a single photo...
at around 16:00... we saw this in the sky!
it was the most perfect rainbow i ever saw...it was very very beautiful!!!.... i took several shots at it before it faded..... then there was only darkness in the sky and i immediately had to take my camera indoors because the heaviest rain started to fall!!!
darn! i didnt get to see the eclipse.... the clouds darkened the sky before the moon's shadow did.. hehehehe....
but atleast i got a shot of this.... the end of the rainbow...
i might try to go there and see if they have the pot of gold hidden there somewhere... lol....
