Celebrating our differences
My brother's United Nations Day Celebration in School this October 24... Each of the children were asked to represent a nation by dressing up and perform a song or dance of that country... I personally thought it was a good exercise because the children together with their parents google the nations that they represent and know something about it... Like we all did with my brother... lol... He represented Honduras! We googled the country and found out many interesting things about it... My mom sewed the custume, my sister made the flag and I wel... I took this picture! lol... But my brother... he was awarded Best in Custume because he projected and used it in his dance with gusto!!! lol....
